Breaking: Penguins Trade Goalie Matt Murray

Just minutes ago the Pittsburgh Penguins official twitter account announced that Goalie Matt Murray has been dealt to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for F Johnathan Gruden and a 2020 2nd round pick (52nd overall).
A few days ago it was announced that the Pens had locked up Goaltender of the future Tristan Jarry to a three year 10.5 million dollar extension - meaning the writing was all but on the wall for Murray in regard to his time in the black and gold.
Murray was a restricted free-agent, and the Pens had little intentions of keeping him due to their lack of cap space and Jarry's All-Star play last season.
Murray's time here won't and should not be diminished in any capacity. He won two Stanley Cup's and filled in admirably for a beloved Pittsburgh great in Marc-Andre Fleury - something that couldn't have been easy.
He brings a championship pedigree and plenty of years left to the Senators - as he's only 26.
In return the Penguins received a guy we'll call "Pittsburgh Chucky", in Johnathan Gruden.
He was drafted by Ottawa in the fourth round (95th overall) in 2018 and played really well with London of the OHL this past year - where he recorded 30 goals, 36 assists, 66 points and a plus-20 in 59 contests.
The Pens also scored a second round pick in what is universally heralded as an incredibly deep draft.
We wish Matt nothing but the best. It will certainly be interesting to see if this is just the beginning of more wheeling and dealing for the general manager who sometimes feels like a fantasy manager - Jim Rutherford.
