Factory Sports Training Paves the Way for Youth Sports and Fitness in the AK-Valley

In 2016 Burrell High School graduate Tyler Condron took over as owner of USA Fitness, which is now called Factory Sports Training, a 10,000 square foot fitness facility that sits atop the Pittsburgh Ice Complex in New Kensington, PA. Condron has an extensive background in sports and fitness. He wrestled for Burrell High School his sophomore to senior year taking 2nd in the WPIAL, and played soccer being named to the WPIAL All Star game and eventually went on to play at Waynesburg University, where he started as a true freshman.
Factory Sports Training is a beautiful facility with so much to offer for people of all fitness levels. It offers cardio equipment, strength machines, free weights, as well as the only indoor track in the area. It also offers aerobics classes, yoga, and spin, as well as tanning. Tyler is not only involved in just the fitness side of things, he said he believes in molding the future with sports training. He works exclusively with Esmark Stars Hockey team, Pittsburgh Vipers, and serves as the Burrell High School wrestling strength and conditioning coach along with head coach Josh Shields.
Condron’s resume speaks for itself, as the Esmark Stars were named Mid-American District Champs this year, and Burrell wrestling has dominated the WPIAL with 14 straight WPIAL Championships. He spends countless hours at the facility training and pushing these kids to give them the best chance to compete for a championship and grow as an athlete every year. I asked Tyler what’s the main reason you decided to get into this business. He explained that he wants to carry on the legacy and make a difference for people who are looking to change their lives with fitness and sports here in the AK-Valley and beyond.
