Craig Patrick has been involved in Hockey his entire life. From his playing days in the 70’s, to his coaching days in the 80’s and most notably his role as the General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1989 through 2006.
Patrick supervised Mario Lemieux. He drafted Sidney Crosby and orchestrated these last three decades of winning in the city of Pittsburgh. He arguably played the largest role in the Penguins 5 Stanley Cup Victories over the course of the last 30 years.
He was in the house this past week when Crosby scored his 500th goal against the Flyers - and he couldn't help but let his emotions get the best of him.
