Kings of the Court Basketball League Becoming a Household Name in Pittsburgh Area

The league is now getting ready for it’s 3rd year and has been gaining momentum each year, with the caliber of notable players it’s a must watch for any basketball fan. Some of the players include Keandre Mason, who was the leading scorer in the WPIAL in 2019 and now playing for Barton Community College (JUNCO) and Gerland Warrick who played at Point Park University and professionally with the world famous Harlem Wizards. The talent in this league is only getting bigger as the years go on. Kings of the Court is made up of one division which I thought was pretty unique; high school, college, and adult all combine to play together. 

When I asked Benson and Marzullo what was the ultimate goal of the league and they both agreed to just give back to the community first and foremost and give upcoming and former players a chance to showcase their skills. You never know who will pop into the gymnasium to catch a game. The 3rd season will start this June and games are played at Roy A. Hunt Elementary School in New Kensington, PA. Be sure to come out and support one of the fastest and most electrifying basketball leagues in Western Pennsylvania this summer.
