This week on "The Sick Podcast, Steelers Crazy", hosted by Yinzer Crazy Co-Founders Mike Nicastro and Jordan York, they sat down with new Steelers swiss-army knife Jordan Byrd.
Byrd, an undrafted free agent signing out of San Diego State, was one of the most electric players in all of college football last season. Playing both RB and WR, the 2022 Mountain West Special Teams player of the year had the seventh most all-purpose yards in program history, and also was on the Paul Hornung Award Watch List for the third consecutive year, an award given to the Nation's most versatile player.
Despite those accolades, Byrd went undrafted due to his size, standing only at 5'9 and weighing in at 170 pounds.
WATCH below as Byrd talks about overcoming the odds, his early relationship with the Steelers, and what they have asked him to work on. He also talks about some hobbies and has some fun with the fellas. Make sure to SUBSCRIBE to the sickest Steelers podcast around!!
