A lot to unpack here. https://t.co/MC91ZHRJV6

Texans' QB Deshaun Watson has been in the headlines for a while now, and not for a good reason. Watson, who was suspended for the entire 2021 season, is facing 22 civil lawsuits against him that include allegations of sexual misconduct. The legal process has been ongoing for the past year, and Watson and his team have fought back against these claims. This Friday, there will be a civil hearing for Watson, and his attorney has stated that he will plead the 5th. That would mean the district attorney likely won't have enough on him to charge him, and he could soon be cleared to resume his normal life, and football.
Watson, 26, is a 3x Pro Bowler and led the NFL in passing yards in 2020.
This is obviously a very serious matter that trumps the landscape of playing football. So this report from former NFL QB Shaun King, who is an accredited source, is certain to rattle some cages.
Watson was previously rumored to follow former Dolphins Head Coach Brian Flores wherever he went, and he's now the defensive assistant in Pittsburgh. And the Steelers QB situation is obviously quite dire, as Mason Rudolph is currently at the top of the depth chart. The Steelers were also rumored to be in the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes, prior to Rodgers resigning with Green Bay.
