Steelers Wish-List Wednesday: Back to the Peach State!

The Steelers have a lot to do this offseason. One of those to-do items is solidifying the offensive line. If you haven’t seen my first wish list, you can check it out here. Each Wednesday I'll dive into one prospect who would look good in black and gold. And this week we’ll look into a face from a familiar school…

Amarius Mims is a man amongst boys. Standing at six feet seven inches and weighing in at 340 pounds, the Georgia product has the potential to be the Steelers long-term right tackle. Mims is projected as a late first round pick, so the Steelers wouldn’t have to worry about trading up to get him like last year’s first round pick, Broderick Jones.

Reuniting Mims and Jones might be the best play in the draft. AFC North teams typically build through the trenches. The best-case scenario will be that Pittsburgh finds its long-term right tackle to partner with its left. The Steelers now have one of the best offensive units in the NFL.

In his three years with Georgia, Mims didn't allow a sack, or a quarterback hit, and allowed a total of just six hurries per PFF. Solid is an understatement. Mims has serious potential to be an All-Pro, and maybe Coach Tomlin can help him reach those heights.

With all that said, there are many holes to fill.

Who do you think the Steelers will pick at 20?
