Late last night, Profootballtalk reported that the Steelers are one of three teams that have made a trade inquiry for Packers' MVP QB Aaron Rodgers.
"The destinations are believed to be exclusively in the AFC. To little surprise, the Broncos are one of them. Other viable possibilities are, we’re told, the Titans and Steelers.
To be clear, if Rodgers chooses Denver or Tennessee or Pittsburgh, the deals will fall into place quickly, both as to the trade terms and as to the contract Rodgers would sign."
This news should not be particularly shocking to any Steelers fan, given their openness about adding to the QB room this offseason. If you weren't aware, Rodgers is already a big fan of the Steel City - largely in part to Pittsburgh Dad.
Earlier in the season, Rodgers sat down with Plum native Pat Mcafee on "The Pat Mcafee Show," -- and had a fun encounter with Pittsburgh Dad. In the video, Rodgers says that "Pittsburgh dad is the best," and that he's been around Pittsburgh people his whole career.
Could that continue in the Black & Gold next season? Wouldn't that be something, n'at.

We’ll just live this video here to end the night for Yinz.
