Even when dealing with being whacked in the helmet by a Boston Bruins player that we won't name, Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry continued on his path to proving the doubters wrong. A big reason he's done that is because he's matured greatly from last season, said Pens' beat writer for the Athletic, Josh Yohe.
"He's really likeable but he's always frankly been a little immature," said Yohe. He referenced the game in Jersey last year when Jarry tried to score an empty net goal, and in doing so almost cost the Penguins the win.
Yohe went onto say: "But something happened this summer. He put in the work and he just seems mentally tougher to me."
