Various reports yesterday, such as this one from the PG's Ray Fittipaldo, touched on the fact that Steelers defensive tackle Montravius Adams had left practice late with what seemed to be an apparent lower left leg injury.

This morning, sources have confirmed to Yinzer Crazy that Adams has a "significant limp" and is wearing a walking boot on his left leg. This is a tremendous blow to a team that is already dealing with their presumed starting nose tackle, Tyson Alualu, just recently activated off the PUP list, as well as new d-line mate Larry Ogunjobi just joining the fold.
Adams was claimed last year off the New Orleans Saints' practice squad, and went on to play a key role for the Steelers down the stretch.
